Meet The Team

We are a small team at Active Sharks CIC and Shark Life but we like it that way, it means we are all involved in every detail of what we do. However, none of our races or events would be possible without the support of our families and the amazing marshals that help us. We are forever indebted to those who of you who give up your time to help us, in whatever capacity that may be and we hope you continue to support us in the future.

Meet our main team below!

Sarah – Director of Active Sharks CIC & Race Director at Shark Life

Shark Life was Sarah’s brainchild and she is passionate about making physical activity inclusive and accessible to all. She is Mum to three mini sharks and holds qualifications in Physical Activity with Children, Personal Training and Advanced Sports Nutrition. She is currently in her third year at Queen Margaret University studying for a degree in Physical Activity, Health and Wellbeing. In her spare time she can normally be found on an obstacle course, either running or marshalling and loves nothing more than going on mini adventures with her girls.

Claire – Active Sharks Director

Claire was heavily involved with our Shark Life event at Foxlake, and then again at Eaglescairnie she played a bigger role in the planning and developing of the site and event so when the time came it was only natural that she would become a Director of Active Sharks CIC. She is passionate about our vision and the work we do with the children and her skillset is invaluable to our organisation. She is Mum to one of our Mini Sharks and although isn’t as keen on the running aspect, is heavily involved with the marshalling of Obstacle Course events and is passionate about the community and experiences this brings.

Audrey – Race Director at Shark Life

Audrey was the second brain behind the Shark Life event at Foxlake, and was instrumental in creating the route and obstacles. She is a passionate obstacle course racer and can often be found in the Pentland Hills on her days off! She is a qualified sports therapist and personal trainer and is currently in her third year at Napier University studying Bsc Sports Science and Sports Injuries. She is Mum to two of our Mini Sharks who are also keen obstacle course runners.
